#ASKLead is a leadership development programme run under the ASKnet (Access to Skills and Knowledge) network, which connects grassroots community hubs across East and Central Africa. The platform provides young leaders with structured learning pathways, peer-to-peer mentorship, and access to a network of facilitators who are themselves embedded in their local communities.
Taweza Technologies built the ASKLead web platform to support both the programme's public profile and its internal coordination. The site handles learner registration, progress tracking, resource libraries, and a community directory — all optimised for users on mobile devices and intermittent internet connections, which reflects the reality of most participants across the network.
